Research & Teaching Resources

This resource is currently in development as a useful tool for faculty, staff, and students in their public scholarship work. Here you will find a variety of resource guides to community-based organizations and research to facilitate civic engagement and community problem-solving through academic work.

Several of these resources have been developed by Penn State faculty and graduate students for research and teaching in their particular disciplines; others are external resources.

If you have favorite disciplinary or interdisciplinary resources, please share them with us so that we may include them here.  References to web-based resources, books, and journal articles should be sent to Dr. Mary Lou Zimmerman Munn, Assistant Director of the Laboratory for Public Scholarship and Democracy, at  mzm10@psu.edu.
